Horse Barn Near Toronto

The floors usually have a concrete floor that we lay our screed pipes on for our bedding layer. This layer we compact and pull once again to avoid any settling from the horses hooves. We lay section by section in the barns because we are not the only ones working in there, so we have to be courteous to the other trades. So we will prepare the base, then lay that section in and repeat. This is a picture that shown the border, the inlay, and how the owner had requested the corners to be done. In this particular barn we used the traditional interlocking brick with a triple border in a dark colour.
